Hindu women wedding

Gold is the most popular metal used in making jewellery. It is durable and doesn’t tarnish despite of everyday use. For many Hindus, gold is considered precious. Hindus believe that gold has the power to purify anything it touches. It is also considered as a sign of power and wealth. Aside from that, it also symbolizes good health, prosperity, and femininity. An Indian sweet maker made sure his daughter truly was the golden girl on her wedding day by covering her in gold jewellery worth more than R9 039 869,33 when converted to South African currency. According to Bruce Metcalf "women all over the world wear a substantial portion of their wealth in jewellery, which can be converted into goods and services should the need arise". In my point of view I think that serves as a redeem aspect because gold is one of the most respected or highly valued metal that is ever used in the world and it holds a much better value even if it has been used.
