Pure Gold granules

This is how gold looks like before melting.Gold can be manufactured into a jewellery piece and the value of it increases. Pure gold is 24ct. Example of calculating gold: 18ct dividing by 24ct= 0.75 multiplied by 100 = 75 percent of pure gold in 18ct metal gold 

 

This is a handstitched pendant I made, well I enjoyed manufacturing this pendant because it has made me to improve my sewing skills.

My Chinese zodiac is Pig and I had to do the beaded brooch through that. According to the Chinese zodiac, the Pig symbolizes wealth and honesty.

 The title cicirha simple means Earrings. Here I have combined two techniques which are stitching and setting depicting on my work will be based on during this year.

The lesson today was to remind me of how to do both stitches for beading, Botsotso, and Brick stitch.

Wood stool reminds me of how my uncle used to make them when I was young. Sigqhili is actually the name of this stool that is what he used to call it.
